SAMIYA COGMON
I have been a tutor to students in Las Vegas for the last 5 years of my life. I graduated as valedictorian of my high school with a 4.85 GPA. I also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Western Nevada College with a 3.95 GPA. I have been a straight-A student throughout my education and continue to instill the principles and strategies that fueled my success. I am equipped to teach English, Reading for younger children, Math up to Calculus I, and Science up to the college level. I look forward to helping your child reach their academic potential.
DULAYA SAENNOK
I graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. I received straight A's for my math classes (Calculus I-III, Partial-Differential Equations), and I scored in the 96th-percentile on my ACT math exam. I tutored math during college, and the people that I have tutored vary from middle school students up to working professionals. I also taught three semesters of college math at UNLV.
I am passionate about helping people solve their problems, especially math and science problems. The primary subjects that I tutor are: Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus and Calculus, and SAT/ACT Preparation.
DR. JOSEPH F. CORTESE
I have tutored and taught students for over 40 years. I possess two master’s degrees and two doctorate degrees, and I have made student success a top priority my entire life. I have taught students and adults of all ages and in all subjects. However, my areas of specialty are English, Reading, and Writing, from middle school to college level. I look forward to helping your child have positive learning experiences, which will lead to greater academic success.
